Eugene A. Pugliese

Surrounded by his loving family, Gene, age 58, passed away on January 14, 2013. He was a talented florist, avid gardener, and co-owner of Almar Florist. He recently moved back to Delaware after living 8 years in Ft. Myers, Florida. Gene was predeceased in death by his loving partner of 34 years David P. Helmers.

Son of the late Anthony E. Pugliese. He is survived by his mother, Florence (Connor) Pugliese, sisters Tina Ruggiero (Joe), Sharon Dean (Bruce) and brother Mark, nieces Vanessa Walker (Jon Ryscuck), Lauren Wise (Christian) and Amanda Schauer (Patrick) and nephew Christopher Ruggiero and much loved great-nephews John Wise and Logan Schauer, many cousins including Marlene Grossi, his Uncle and Aunt Albert and Anne Crisconi.

Visitation will be held at St Helena's R.C. Church 602 Philadelphia Pike on Saturday, January 19, from 10-11 am, mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to make donations to Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Hospital or St. Helena's R.C. Church.
