Nice to be reminded of Henry. I was his adult student in Music Appreciation. His joy in teaching was obvious and I learned a lot from him. UDel was fortunate in having his service for so long. - Bob McDonough, one-time EE faculty at Del.

I am so sad to just hear of Henry Lee's passing. He was one of my favorite professors at the University of Delaware. I learned so much from him. May he rest in peace.

In the late '70s, I was faculty at UDel. Being an engineer, I needed some culture, and took Henry's year of Intro. to Music (for credit). He was a delightful person and gifted teacher. I've thought of him often since then. His enthusiastic love of music, and of teaching, have stayed with me over the years. I trust I'm only one of the very many students who were influenced by him.

Dear Jane,
It was with great saddness to hear of Henry's passing. I am so fond of you both and appreciate the connection over these many years. It was a special to joy to share July 20th as a birthday with Henry and the yearly exchange of cards. He was a bright and happy spirit!!
