My deepest sympathy to the Reynolds family. Ed was a great friend at one time and the news of his untimely passing saddens me.
Although a few years older, Eddie (or as I nicknamed him because of our mutual love for oldies and doowop, "Eddiephonic Ed")went to Bonner together, attended Philly police academy together (class #255) and worked as SEPTA police together.
Ed was a class act who was loved by everyone who met him. He was the only recruit at Philly Police academy that started a tomato fight at lunch time and even made Lt. Rodell laugh(needs further explaining.
I have not seen Ed for many years, but just knowing that I can never see him again in this life awakens me to the reality of how precious life is.
God bless the Reynolds family, Ed needs no more prayers cause I am sure he is with his mom, dad and God!
R.I.P. Eddiephonic Ed!

My deepest condolences go out to the Reynolds family. Sergeant Reynolds was a great leader, a great man, and a great friend. He was the epitome of a police supervisor, who cared for and bravely led his officers. Probably the hardest working cop I've known, he was always there to direct, guide and assist his officers. I will take all that Sgt. Reynolds has taught me, and only hope that I can be half the supervisor that he was. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
