It is with such difficulty to express the significant loss of Mike. He was EVERYTHING a parent would want for their Daughter: Loving, Caring, Faithful, Devoted, Giving, & Genuine! He was a man of Faith, Respect & Morals & instilled that to his Children. God,& his Family, Stacy, Mickey, Jack, Katie & Ashley were his life & Stacy was his BEST friend! Except for work, he never went anywhere w/o his Family. I really got to know the True, Genuine Mike with each miraculous birth of their Children. Never have I seen anyone beam with such joyful & proud tears. It was so awe inspiring to see! Mike was always giving, either of himself or teaching life's lessons. Even with his passing, he is still giving so others may live. Mike is still head of the 'G-Force': Giving, Guiding & Guarding his loved ones here on earth. God has another St. Michael by his side:-). I'll miss your vibrant, contagious smile, our talks & your great jokes. You always made me laugh. "Thank You". You'll be in our hearts forever!

Mike and and I were classmates at Sun Valley. Although I had not seen him in many years, I remember him fondly as a very good person who was kind to all who met him. From the comments, I see that he continued to live that example. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time.

Dear Stacy, Mickey, Jack, Katie, and Ashley,
Mike was one of the greatest men we have ever met. If there was one word to describe him - it would be faithful. Mike was faithful in his service at church, to his commitments with coaching, to his work, and to the ultimate care of his family, whom he affectionately called "The G Force". He had a smile that lit up the room. We are so thankful for the example he set for so many. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed. You are in our prayers continually. May you feel the deep peace and presence of God at this difficult time. All our love and prayers are with you.

A great instructor and a greater loss. I attended one of his courses several years ago at the Montgomery County Public Safety Training Campus and ran into he and his family one evening Brandywine Creek State Park, just last year, while working for Delaware State Parks. Thank you for you service and dedication. R.I.P.

I worked with Mike closely over the summer and fall. He was an absolutely awesome guy who always raved about his wife and children.
