Matthew Shores Obituary
SALISBURY-Matthew David Shores, 25, of Salisbury passed away on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013.
A loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Matthew was an avid outdoorsman who spent his last day on the water with his friends. With a smile, he proclaimed, he had "a great day."
Survived by his mother, Donna Moffit; father Mark Shores; step-mother, Brenda Shores; sister Dawn Shores and her children, Demari Bivens and Julissa Bivens; sister Mandi Shores and her daughter Jade Womer; brother, Dillian Shockley and his son, Lucien Shockley brother David Shockley; grandparents, Delores and Stanley Shockley; loving girlfriend, Dina Calderon; very best friend, Lindsay Haynes, and a very large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Matthew will be missed by many and will provide a safe ride home to many in a new way.
A Celebration of His Life will be held on Monday at 6 p.m. at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation two hours prior. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Bunting.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to American Legion Post 64, Salisbury, Md. 21804.
