Matthew Parks Obituary
Irondequoit: April 9, 2011. Predeceased by his brothers Walter, Al, Chet and Ralph; sisters Emily Howe and Janet Zurkey. Survived by his brothers Fred (Sandra) of Texas, Ray (Rita) of Texas and Victor (Jeanne). 35 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews, and many friends. Navy veteran of WW-2, avid golfer and former co-owner of Park Brothers Farm Stand and he loved his cabin in Bristol.
Friends may call Wednesday 5-8 PM at the funeral home 570 Kings Highway South @ Titus Ave. Please meet Thursday Morning at 9:30 at Stanislaus Church where a mass of christian burial will be celebrated. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers please consider the memorial fund of St. Stanislaus Church.

Mary Beth and I will miss our visits with Matt at the cabin. Our Saturday afternoons will not be the same. We will truly miss sharing a beer and talking about family, hunting and the fish in the pond. We are honored to have known such a fine man. Our prayers are with you and we hope that you find peace in your loving memories of him.

The Parks Family,
Our sincere sympathy to you in the passing of Matt. We have many good memories of playing golf with him at Webster. Also the many times that the guys got together for breakfast, golf, and good times after at the cabin.
