John and family, I was so sad to see Ruthie's obituary in the paper. We were leaving on vacation the following day so I was unable to make visitation to the funeral home. However, please know that I loved your mother as a truly warm and caring person. I so enjoyed spending time with her at her home; she was so welcoming. It was comforting talking with you and checking on her welfare. I sorely regret not keeping in touch with her after I was laid off from Kodak. Be assured that she is in heaven with Sharkey and getting into mischief. And don't forget: you WILL see her and your Dad again one day. I truly believe that to be true.
My prayers are with you and your sister and your whole family.

What wonderful memories I will hold in my heart of Aunt Ruth! She deeply loved her family and we loved her. But her love went far beyond us, to friends, neighbors, and all she came in contact with. What a wonderful legacy of showing God's love she has left us with!
And now she is Home with her God and her beloved Sharkey. I can only imagine the joy she is experiencing now.
With love to my Rochester family, B

We were so sorry to hear about Ruth's passing. The kids were so excited to go visit her when we come up to NY this coming weekend. We will never forget her warmth and charm, her smile and laugh, and her ability to love and be loved by all who knew her. What a wonderful angel she will make in heaven! I loved "Aunt" Ruthie so much. Memories from when I was at her house as a little boy, especially the pool, to the last time we saw each other five years ago. Mom loved her very much, and now they are together. All my prayers.

To Ruth's beloved family...
Your MOM was one of my most favorite people...I worked with her for many years. She always had a smile on her face and a caring ear to listen...I most loved her humor..she always lifted my spirits...my favorite memory was when she would kid about her cosmetic bag being bigger than her purse. She was a good friend to everyone and will be sadly missed by all.
