As Barbara J. Smith's sister, I wish to sincerely thank everyone for the beautiful comments you made about my sister. Bobbie truly was a gifted, dedicated singer with the ability to touch everyone as she sang about the love of God. I speak for her daughter, Jeanae and son Jack and all the family members. We thank you!

To: Jaenae, Jack & Smith Family
So very sorry to hear of your loss.
Barbara was a blessed spiritual love in my life. Whenever she sang "God Is" in church, I cried with joy. It was so evident that the good Lord used her gifts and talents in a "mighty way". Such a delightful, humble, strong, upbeat, optimistic friend. I will miss her terribly. Our deepest heart-felt sympathy. Feel free to call or email Ronald and I for assistance at: (303)469-7265

To The Smith Family. I thank God for giving me a chance to meet someone as wonderful and loving as Barbara. The last time I saw/spoke with her was at The King Baptist Church Reunion celebration for the church anniversary, and even though she was in a wheelchair her spirit stood 10 feet tall. I've always loved her and Jaenae. My mom and sister also wanted me to send you their love. I will continue to pray your strength through the temporary separation from your loved one.

Gospel Rennasance will never be able to replace Barbara. She was the corner stone of our group. She was the inspiration behind all the great gospel singers we sang with. Because of her love of God we were able to experience his power every time we sang. We plan to bring the house down tomorrow at her homegoing celebration.
You know I love all of you, and will be praying Gods blessing upon you all.
