My sincere sympathy to all of the Kelsall family.
I was saddened to lose Charlie before and now Helen. It was always important to try to see them whenever I returned to Denver, even though it didn't always happen. What a wonderful brunch we had in 2008 together with extended family members. Helen was so gracious then, as always, even though her health was not good. I will remember her fondly.

I felt blessed and honored to care for Helen Elizabeth Kelsall for a little over three years. I cared for her and the Mr. as well. They were such a sweet couple who had the largest hearts possible and were pillars in their community. Helen was kind of like an adopted mother to me. She always gave the best advise and was one of the sweetest people I know. One time Helen, Howie and I were driving home from a Doctor's appointment and I said, "you want to taste something really good"? I then took them to Starbuck's for a Java Chip Frappacino. They absolutely loved it and when I went to Safeway, or anywhere really, she would ask me to stop for a Java Chip. It was one treat she could have anytime she wanted and even if she wasn't hungry she could always drink a Frappacino. Nothing was as important to her, as her family and friends. Somehow we would manage to get gifts purchased and delivered and if her children, or grandchildren, were over worked or stressed in anyway, she would always say, "what can I do to help"? She was unable to travel very much these last few years, but wished with all of her might, that she could take off the oxygen, go visit all of her friends and attend her PEO luncheons. She was more than generous and wonderfully supportive. I enjoyed her company so much and now have a big void in my life. I'll miss my friend Helen but, now she has all the fresh air she can breath and all the flexability of a young healthy girl and that she and Howie are dancing all around the heavens now, together forever.

We didn't know Hellen but we do know Dave, and we are sure that she had to be an extraordinary woman to have such a kind and generous son.
Our condolences to all the family

Dear Neighbors and second parents in my earliest memories. Both Helen and Howie were people I just kind of thought would always be there.

I remembered when I was very young, the Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners that Aunt Helen used to always have for the entire family. It was that time of my life when the Holidays did not come around fast enough.
As I grew up, entered university, had my own set of wheels, I would drive from Boulder to Denver just to stop in and say hello when I needed some company. I was always welcomed and felt so comfortable stopping by and visiting them.
Years later when I married my wife Griz, she instantly loved them as if part of her family. Our oldest daughter was born in Little Rock and in my wife's culture God Parents are such an important honor and importance. There was nobody better in the world as Helen and Howard to be Tatiana´s God Parents. All three of children loved them so much. Helen is even a special person in the eyes of our only granddaughter Katya. Helen is so beloved by 3 generations of family.
Yes there are people in your life that leave such a wonderful lasting memory. Helen is one of those that we all have good memories of and whom will be remembered for ever by my family.
Helen left us too early as my wife was counting so much on seeing her again with our daughter and grand-daughter when she is up in the States in a few more days. We will miss you so much Aunt Helen. We all know you are sitting at the side of God.

We will not be able to be there in person but will be with you in spirit.
Helen and Howard were special people to our family and all of Church extended family.
At age 10, I was at their wedding and all that I remember is that Helen was the most beautiful lady that I had ever seen.
Our condolences to all of her family.
