My deepest condolences to Elder Caulkins' family. We spent time together in Westminster and Newport Beach. While we never were companions were shared apartments in those areas. I will remember forever Elder Caulkins' zeal for life and amazing sense of humor. We all worked hard and played hard. Ypu will be missed.

I was one of Gordon's closest friends throughout junior high and high school. Gordan, Kelly Martin and I were the three drummers at Kuna High School who routinely traumatized our band director and shared many other memories of a time when life was much less complicated. Over the years, we've drifted away into our seperate lives and lost touch with each other. So neither Kelly nor I knew that Gordan was sick or that he had passed away. I can't tell you how sad we both are to lose such a dear friend. Over the years we've watched Gordan mature into loving father and respected professional; but for me, he'll always be that goofy buddy we ran around with all those years ago who kept us laughing and met every day with a smile and a unique prospective. He always saw the world a little different than us, and we loved him for it. He was fun, carefree, and one of the very best friends I ever had. Rest well my friend, and thank you for the wonderful memories. Dave Smith (Nampa, Idaho)

Dear Carolyn and all the Calkins family.
I was so very shocked and sad to hear about the passing of Gordie. It seems like only yesterday that I was visiting with him at Clarence's funeral, and now Gordie has been called home to our Heavenly Parents as well. I'm so sorry for the hurt and heartache this brings to all of you. I know God's blessings will be poured out upon you, and His Spirit will lift you and hold you up through this difficult time.
We love you,
Virginia (Austin) Greathouse

Dear Carolyn, Sylvia, and Calkins family,
I am so, so, very sorry to hear of Gordon's passing! Having been in AZ all winter I didn't even know of his diagnosis until after I was informed of his passing. Such a loss!
Prayers and love go out to you!
