Todd and Trina: We just found out last night via e-mail from Don about the loss of your beautiful baby. We feel so sad for all of you. If we had known we surely would have attended the service. Dear Todd & Trina, There are no words of comfort that can help you with your suffering, only faith and time can soften your deep sorrow. No parent should have to bear the loss of a child, it's just unbearable. Our heart aches for you and your family. Only God can bring you comfort in knowing that your precious baby boy is with Him. Through your faith, believe that you will be with baby Nate and your sweetest little Angel once again. Until then I hope that you can find comfort with the love that you have for each other, and the blessings that you do share, your children.

We are so saddened by the loss of little Nate. It was so good to see all of you at the family reunion last summer, and in retrospect, especially Nate. Todd, I just heard about your little boy and wanted to let you know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I can't even imagine. Here is a little poem for you:
There's a special angel in Heaven
That is a part of me.
It is not where I wanted him,
But where God wanted him to be.
He was here just a moment,
Like a night time shooting star.
And though he is in Heaven
He isn't very far.

The sadness of not having Nathan's physical presence with you has to be overwhelming. I pray for your healing. The memories of the joy Nathan brought to your lives are hopefully comforting. I did not know your sweet baby but I have small children and I have some understanding of how much you must miss him. I know he is in the Arms of Jesus being kept safe. You need not fear for him. He has been taken from this aweful world to be with Angel and other family members. He fufilled his purpose in this world and now goes on to work for Christ on the other side. I know he loves you all and wishes that you continue on in strength and unity as a family.
