Dear Family, I am Janet Isom, the daughter of David's cousin, Howard Hinchcliff. On the few occasions that I had the privilege of talking to David, or being in his company, I was so impressed with his magnificence of character, intellience, kindness and enjoyable sense of humor. My mother and I thought the world of David! I wish that I could attend his services, I extend my love, sympathy and thoughts to all of you.
Love, Janet Isom

To Dolores and family, you have my LOVE and deepest sympathy. Mr. Donohoo, as I know him, was one of my most beloved and cherished teachers (1973-75). I am so sad that he is gone. I knew him as an educator, but could see beyond, that he was a remarkable individual, so loving, so gentle and such a quietly but extremely kind person; we had a very special relationship. (He probably treated everyone that way though!) He was so excited when I was called to serve in the SPAIN Seville Mission. I remember when you two came to our wedding reception and I even remember your gift to us! Reading in his obituary of so much service in church and in the community, I am not at all surprised by it. He was one of those teachers who taught and exemplified goodness and great character - with Spanish on top, por supuesto!

To Jeannie and Janet (my schoolmates), I send my condolences and love.

Although my husband studied French (we should forgive him for this) under the tutelage of Mrs. Karras, he too knew Mr. Donohoo all through our Jr. High experience, and thought very highly of him.

I am so sad that you are gone, Mr. Donohoo, you are so loved and will be missed dearly! P.S. - I always wondered what the "O" stood for and now I know. "Hasta vernos con el Rey, para siempre Dios esté con vos."

con cariño,

Heidi (Nelson) Jenkins
