Words can not explain how bless I feel to have had the honor to come in contact with Mrs. McDaniel. She taught me when I was in the first grade at M.M Walton and our relationship grew from there. She has supported me through everything that I have done in my life, and she was always there to lend some advice to get me through. I will miss her tremendously, but I know she is in better place now. I hope and pray that she is looking down on me. I will continue to keep her family in my prayers God Bless.

Dear McDaniel Family:
It's so nice to see that Mrs. McDaniel lived to be 80 years. I send my condolences to you in your loss. The Bible speaks of living even longer in Psalms 37:29. Almighty God loved the world so much he gave his only begotten son, Jesus Christ so that many might live, John 3:16. May your memories of Hester continue to make to feel better soon.
Sincerely,

Nina Parker

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth. I knew that my name was safe in my beloved Soror Hester's mouth. Every word was laced with love and encouragement. I have never seen her any other way than being the example of the finest Christian lady we all strive to become. Soror Hester was no ordinary woman, she was an Alpha Kappa Alpha LADY!!

To the McDaniel Family:

I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. McDaniel when I and 19 other young ladies made our bow at the 1983 debutante ball. Mrs. McDaniel was instrumental in making sure that I was presented that year. She was the epitome of "class" and "grace". She will never be forgotten.

Mr. McDaniel and Family,

Mrs. McDaniel was a precious jewel. She was so sweet, no matter where I saw her, she would always hug me and tell me how good it was to see me. She may not have remembered my name, but you could never tell it. I remember at the meetings she would always say, "Ladies, let's stay on task" and "know your deb".
May God strengthen you during this time, and may the beautiful memories of Mrs. McDaniel comfort you.

Dear Mr. McDaniel and family,

Hester was a lovely flower, who brought so much joy and beauty to those who knew her. She was always a wonderful friend to my mother and that, I will always remember and treasure. Whenever she called on the telephone, she brought a wide smile to my face. Her spirit will be missed here on earth, but wherever it is, those who are near, will feel the warmth of sunshine and be full to the brim with joy.

My mother, brothers and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. May God hold you ever so close to Him.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days to come.

Hester was a very special person to me. I learned so much from her while working with her in The Fort Worth Assembly. While she's absent in body, she'll remain forever in my heart.

Cry if you must, but don't cry like you have no hope; God makes no mistakes and He will take care of you. Love to all the family and I'll keep you in my prayers. Be Blessed!

To Mrs Hester Randle McDaniel:
We know there were places you could have stayed and places you could have gone where people would have apppreciated your life on this Earth. At this time, we appreciate the fact that you wanted to stay and be here with us because you loved us.
You wanted us to get the benefit of the wonderful things that God created in your life and did through you. We love you for your efforts. Thank the Almighty for what He has done through you. Certainly our world is a better place because you have been here with us. We certainly could not have been what we are without your love and tender care for us. Thank God for your tender mercy and your leadership and what you have taught us to be. We wish you could be here one more month, one more year, but we know that God is always right. Because He is always good, we surrender you to Him.
May the light of your life continue to surround us. We are giving thanks for what you have done. I have never heard, nor have I ever been told that your life was less than noble. You always stood for truth, kindness and goodness for everyone and you always taught us to be the same. You were our example and you certainly will be missed. May the Grace of God which has always been with you and the sweet reunion now that you are joined with Him, rest and abide with Him forever in communion. Amen
