Ernest Grimm Obituary

Ernest "Ernie" W. Grimm III, 62, passed away Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016. Memorial gathering: 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Ernie was born Oct. 21, 1953, in Tulsa, Okla. Ernie graduated from Edison High School in Tulsa and studied geology at the University of Texas at Arlington. He worked for Bell, LTV, AST, USA Mobility and most recently as a facilities planner at Amazon. His passions were music, playing guitar and racing. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Grimm Jr. Survivors: Wife of 25 years, Melissa Grimm; children, Jessica Grimm Callaway and her husband, Cole Callaway, John Norris and his wife, Elizabeth Norris; mother, LaVeeda Wilson Grimm; grandchildren, Austin, Mackenzie, Anais and Javier; brothers, David and Jimmy Grimm; and other extended family.
