Dad it's been two years since you left for a better place...Ranger's went to the world series, your great-grandson turned three, and Kelly is now by your side or should I say in your lap! Love you and still miss you! OH! We moved away from Richland Hills (after 60 years) to Fort Worth.

GOD SAW YOU GETTING TIRED
Homer God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be
So He wrapped his arms around you,
And whispered, "come to me".
You did't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.
And when we saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

My favorite memories of Papa are him and Mema picking me up from school dozens of times and taking me to Chuck E Cheese and Braum's for ice cream. :) Papa will be missed, but I know he's in a better place watching over all of us.

Homer was at one time my landlord. Later he became my son's and had been for the past 6 yrs. He was a sweet man and a quiet one. My daughter in law often ran errands for Homer & she thought a lot of him.He will be missed by so many.
