To the Marva Newsome Family,
This is such a shock to me because I'm just now finding out that she has passed away. I remember Sis. Newsome during my time at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. I can hear her singing in the choir and doing whatever she was called on to do. She was a true servant who always encouraged others in their time of need. What a spiritual giant she was! I will miss her beautiful voice and encouraging words. Children and grandchildren, know that she is with the Lord Jesus and we will see her again! May God bless, comfort, and keep you!

She will be truly missed. She was always family first, even trying to bring extended family together. The flame will be lower without her at our family gatherings in Corsicana. Our sympathies
