I was surprised and saddened to hear today of David's passing. I enjoyed being his customer. He was kind and had a youthful interest in learning new things - very much alive.

David will be missed greatly by this old lady. He was my stylist & friend for the past 20 years. His honesty, passion, and jokes were so valuable. My prayers are with his family at this difficult time. I also pray he is resting in Gods arms.

Even though I really didn't know David I did have the privilege of going to High School with his children. They’re all wonderful people and I always enjoyed my time with them. I’m confident their positive outlook was a direct reflection of how they were raised and treated by both David and Sharon. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

David was my friend, 'therapist' and stylist for over 30 years. I always looked forward to my monthly appointments with him because I knew in one way or another it would be fun and interesting. He knew how to tell a good joke, but sometimes told it over and over throughout the years. He was so perceptive knowing something was going on with me and others just by how they looked or carried themselves. We has helped me through some difficult times in my life. I know I will never find another like him. I still can't believe he is gone. I will miss him so much. He was and is a great man, I think he knew how people felt about him.

Johnson Family
We knew and were friends with David & his family in Grandview Heights. Our children were close in age and our lives enter-twined with school, little league, community events, etc. We enjoyed knowing David & his family.
May your wonderful memories help you through this difficult time.

I have been going to David's to get my haircut for over 15 years. David was always interested in my stories especially the motorcycle stories. He was an excellent hair stylist and a good friend. I will miss you David, God speed!

Please accept our sympathy. I'd been coming to David's shop for 34 yrs. I remember I had to cancel my first appointment because my son Chris was born that day but got to know him over the coming years. Every time I see my reflection I can see his handiwork. For a while we even shared the same "color". He will be missed. * Mary Anne Bondra and Chris and Joe.

I have been a "client" of David's for over 30 years. Client is not the right word. He was like family to me. If I was sad when I went in to see him, I left happy. He was always interested in my family and friends. We shared so many happy and sad moments. I cannot imagine not having him in my life. I will miss him so much. There will be a huge void in so many lives.

My heart goes out to his family. He was a wonderful man and friend to all that knew him.

David has cut and colored my hair for over 14 yrs. He was always a friend during this time. He made me laugh with his jokes(the ones he could remember), and seemed to share in all of my life events, the wedding, the children, etc. He had known my sister before he met me, and he always asked about her. Visiting David was like visiting an old friend, one that pampered you! I will miss him, and my heart aches to think of how much he will be missed by many of us, and especially his loved ones. He seemed to enjoy his family, Sandra, and his roses(pottery too) so much. I hope that you can find comfort with each other, sharing memories of David. He was a blessing in our lives.
