Edward White Obituary

WHITE Edward E. White, 78, of Grove City, formerly of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Columbus West Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Columbus, Ohio. He was born April 4, 1933 in Bidwell, son of the late Luretha Smith. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and worked as a coal mine security guard. Surviving are his wife, Prudence Wall White of Grove City, Ohio; his children, Dianna White of Grove City, Ohio and Quentin White of Lebanon, Illinois; two grandsons, Scott White of Jackson, North Carolina and Marc White of Charleston, West Virginia; one great-grandson, Landon White; a step-brother Pastor Herb Smith of Canal Winchester, Ohio; and several step-brothers and step-sisters. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the New Millenium Church of Christ, 4905 Ridge St., Columbus, OH 43207 with Pastor Herb Smith officiating. Our hearts are very heavy because of the death of Mr. White. We are happy that we were able to spend time with him. He is resting and is at peace. We are praying for the family.
