Johnny Baughman

Baughman Johnny Baughman, age 63, of Westerville, died Friday morning, March 25, 2016 at his residence. He was born on January 10, 1953 in Columbus to the late Homer and Jean (Howard) Baughman. He was a 1971 graduate of Big Walnut High School and was a fire protection designer for JR Fire Protection and Alarms. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sunbury and the NFPA and NICET. Johnny enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley motorcycle, restoring his 1968 Corvette, and watching The Ohio State Buckeyes football. Johnny treasured the time spent with his family and friends. His outgoing personality was an asset to his business and personal life. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary (Egger) Baughman and they were married April 3, 1980 in Columbus; daughters, Kyra (Kenneth) Brubaker of Johnsville, Melissa Baughman Prince of Dublin, Amy Baughman Hoffner of Columbus; grandchildren, Katelyn Estepp, Jenna Estepp, Jonathan Brubaker; great grandchild, Niko Estepp; brothers, Benny of Sunbury, Ronny (Laura) of Galena. Friends may call Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the DeVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury, where service will be held Tuesday 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the Sunbury Memorial Park.
