Lonnie Lee Angle, 67, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on April 18, 2007. Lonnie was born in Sikeston, Missouri on June 30, 1939. At the age of two, his family moved to Arizona and eventually settled in Gilbert. He graduated from Gilbert High in 1957. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Central States. After returning from his mission, he married Elma Lee Williams in the Mesa Arizona Temple. Five children have blessed their lives. Lonnie was an entrepreneur and held several patents. Previous to retiring, he worked in a variety of sales positions. He was preceded in death by his son, Brad and nine brothers and sisters. Lonnie is survived by Elma Lee, his wife of 45 years; Nathan (wife Cari), Pam Bingham (husband Tony), Todd (wife Heather), and Matt (wife Candice). Also surviving are his twin sister, Bonnie Ferguson; and brothers, John Cowgur and Willie Angle. He has 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren whom he loved to spoil. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, April 20, at the LDS Mesa Central Stake Center, 925 N. Harris, Mesa. An additional visitation will be from 10:00 to 10:45 AM on Saturday, April 21, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM at the LDS Mesa Central Stake Center. Interment will follow at Mesa City Cemetery. We will miss your sense of humor and all the fun we had with you Papa!
