Marlene Angle
Roodhouse - Marlene Angle, age 90 of Roodhouse passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 20, 1934 in White Hall, the daughter of Herbert and Geraldine Marsh Brant. She married Derrol Angle August, 11, 1956 in Roodhouse and he preceded her in death October 19, 2011.
She is survived by two children, Kim (Charles) Everlith of Titusville, FL, Jerrol Angle of Roodhouse, four grandchildren, Jerica Cicci, Joshua Cicci, Kristina (Jake Tyler) Everlith, Stacey (Jake) Sullivan, three great grandchildren, Ella Jean, Lacey, and Jameson, a sister, Gloria (Joe) Lawson of Roodhouse, a brother, Marvin (Mary) Brant of Normal, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Jean Cici, and a brother, Dale Brant.
Marlene graduated from Roodhouse High School in 1952. She worked for the Roodhouse Record as the editor. They later moved to Connecticut in 1969 and worked for Auto Swage and was the manager of the beaded chain division until she retired. After retirement they moved back home and she began working as the door greeter at Airsman-Hires Funeral Homes for many years. She enjoyed reading, watching Yukon Huskies Women, pending time in the ski chalet in Vermont, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Roodhouse is assisting the family. Condolences may left online at www.airsman-hires.com Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.
