To all the Jarvis family
Your mom was truly a monumental influence in my life.
I will always remember the summers at Windermere; and all the Christmas's that were made truly magical by her. She always had time for a cup of tea and a Dad's cookie after school and sorted out all of our mischievous plot's to hide Wendy in places like the garbage can. She came to the rescue and assured us that this wasn't a good plan.
I will miss her laugh and will love her always.
I hope that during this time of loss that each one of you is comforted by her everlasting love.
Love to all

I remember Gram for the secret stash of goodies she kept, the sugared cereal she had just for us grand-kids (Franken Berry and Count Chocula), and the fact that she never got angry with me even though I broke her Swarovski crystal bird figure 30 seconds after she received it for Christmas one year.
She was also the first person to try to instill some fashion sense in me, insisting that as a lady I needed a purse, not just a wallet.
I'll miss you, Gram.
Love Lindi

My memories of Ev go back to Camrose days when Betty, who was staying with Ev and Frank and going to high school, became my friend.
Fast-forwarding to Red Deer days, when Barry Tomalty began working with my husband Doug Stewart, Barry asked to bring his girl friend to a company party at our home.Lo and behold, it was Carroll!
Through the years there have been various contacts with all of the above. I often ran into Ev at the hairdressers or the mall. I admired her friendliness and style.
Betty - when I would see Ev, I would always catch up on news of you.
Sincere sympathy to all the family in the loss of a lovely lady.

So very sad to hear of your loss, Evelyn was a fabulous second mom in my younger years in Parkallen, thought of her often with such fond memories. A great lady. She always had a open door.

No one could host a Sunday family dinner like Gram could. Her family was always her first concern, and I will always be grateful for her support when I was a homesick granddaughter during my university years. I'll remember her for her strong fashion sense throughout her life, and the boost my confidence received whenever she complemented me on my outfit.
She was a giving, caring, loving grandmother to me and a thoughtful great-grandmother to my girls, and I miss her terribly.
I'll always love you, Gram.

Remembering with fondness and love a wonderful mother-in-law---especially for me.
She welcomed me into her family with understanding, kindness, acceptance and patience for close to 44 years.
A confidant; my birthday cake maker; a super grandma to my children.
She has a special (now lonesome) place in my heart.
