More years have gone by, but I still see the twinkling eyes, sideways look and smile, and the laughter of Betty Jo. Warm memories on this cold day.

Sorry to hear of Betty Joe passing. She will be greatly missed to all that knew her and I know I will miss her. Remembering the old days she came over to visit and sometimes watch us and we would all have a good laugh or two. She always had your back no matter what! Betty was a great lady a go getter. The simplest things in life often bring us the most joy. To hear all the comments about Ms. Betty's smile is wonderful. It is at times such as these that we wonder why it always seems bad things happen to good people. It is very comforting though to know that God sees all things including the hurt that so many feel right now. Not only that but he has the power to make things right and will do so very soon. Isaiah 25:8 tells us that very soon God will swallow up death forever. In other words not far off at all will God completely remove death and even undo all the pain that it has caused us all. I would like to take this time to offer the warm condolences of my family and I. Please continue to look to the Bible for guidance, support, and strength.

I was very sad to hear of Betty Jo passing. She was a very good friend of my parents and she also took care of me when we were small. She was a kind and very funny person. I will never forget her. She still called me Brat as an adult! That's crazy Betty.

"Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on,
and cherished memories never fade
because a loved one's gone.
Those we love can never be more than a thought apart,
for as long as there is memory, they'll live on in the heart."
Betty Jo was such a warm, generous, and funny person whose friendship I will treasure forever. What times we had in Elko...if only the walls could speak. Rest In Paradise my friend.

My condolences to Lois and surviving family members of Betty Jo. I regret missing her funeral services due to taking a family member to Boise, Idaho for a Doctor's appointment that could not be rescheduled. However, I have many precious and treasured memories of Betty. Yes, I agree she was a very kind loving person with a big heart. I too will miss her wicked laugh. When I learned of her passing I could see her meeting up with her crazy buddies who went before her and them having a great time seeing one another again. Betty will be missed by us all. Yes, she did always have her doors open to family and friends, I too, did stay with her many a times, and she always insisted on fixing breakfast. She always referred to me as Nummie. She is my Bazee (older sis)and I will surely miss her on my visits to Elko.

And you said, Aw! Its better that way then you can dip your popcorn it in...hahaha. You will be missed. My condolences to Steve, Marvin, Webb and the family. My thoughts and prayers to all of you.

Lois & Family, We are saddened to receive the news of Betty's leaving us and going on to live with her Creator and all of her loved ones who welcomed her with love & joy. Betty is a very special person who had so much love to give and and shared whatever she could with others. She could lift your spirit with her humor & teasing. I will treasure the memory of that big smile that lit up her face when meeting up with her. Betty will be dearly missed, but I'm sure she will be greeting us with that big smile when we're ready to see her again. My prayers are with you all, I pray that the wonderful memories of precious Betty Jo will bring you comfort. She was one in a million and brought joy & happiness to those of us here and now, it's time for her to move on and bring joy to our departed ones. Betty was always there for our family during our sad times, however she had to get to us and we all loved her dearly. We will listen for that special laughter when in a crowd and know that her spirit and love will remain with us forever. We love you Betty Jo!

Betty Jo, I am going to miss you so much. Each time I saw you around town you always had something crazy to say about my situation regardless of what it was, you always made me laugh!! There was a few times you helped me out when I was in a bind and I thank you for it, even if it involved crusin' in your little white car in the snow. Im glad you were willing to help!! I am sorry that you had to be sick and I am sorry you had to leave, but know that where ever you are you are always in my heart as a good friend and as a relative. I'll miss you dearly and we shall cross paths again one day!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
