Carol, my sincere condolences to you and your family; my thoughts and prayers are with you!
You and Bill were on my mind many times this past year; I live in Sarasota Co. Fl. and was trying to reach Bill in early 2016, unfortunately without success!
On my 74th birthday Nov. 4th, I received a call from Girard resident, Ivan Schuler.
I'm sure you, John Kostrubanic, Paul Clark, and others from Girard PSP, will remember him; he certainly remembers all of you!
Ivan, was very upset to inform me of Bills passing. Bill and several others from the Girard Barracks always treated him with respect and consideration, as a boy, and as a young man! Ivan never forgot and freely professes his deepest respect for Bill, and those other Officers, who looked out for him and his mother, to everyone who will listen! He said was thankful to have known Bill! To Ivan, Bill was the greatest!

I have great memories of Bill and my Dad (Rich) hunting and enjoying life (and Black Velvet). I regret I didn't see you while you lived in Florida. You were a part of my childhood, and you are missed.

Carol, Jean and I send our condolences to you and your family. May his soul rest in peace. Bill came to my rescue more than once during our career; it was men like him at Girard station that made our "station family" respected by the public we served. Thanks Bill.
