Nancy Lippert Obituary


Nancy Lippert, age 70, of Millcreek Township, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Abington Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on September 28, 1945, the daughter of the late Hilary and Katherine Boehm Lippert.

She was employed at Quality Markets and enjoyed playing bingo, watching NASCAR, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

She is survived by one daughter Hilary McAlister of Millcreek, one son Bryan Lippert of Houtzdale, Pa., two sisters Claudia Campbell of Lake City and Em Cool of Conneaut, Ohio, one brother Ralph Lippert of Girard, one grandson Nathan Carey, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister Helen Jarvi, one son-in-law Sean McAlister, and two brothers Paul and Lawrence Lippert.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there Thursday for the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.
