Thomas Kemick Obituary
He was a Sergeant with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Thomas retired from General Electric Co. in 2006 after more than forty years as a locomotive tester. He enjoyed metal detecting, trout fishing, old war movies and cooking, but family was especially important to him.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Yvonne M. (Hyde) Kemick, one daughter, Kristi Bjorkman (Colin), two sons, Douglas Kemick (Michelle) and David Kemick (Brenda), all of Erie, five grandchildren, Jeffery Kemick, Andrew Kemick, Jourdan Kemick, Ashley Kemick and Alexander Kemick, one great-granddaughter, Gracelynn Ritenour, one sister, Bonnie Lee Hoehn, of Erie, and one brother, William Joseph Kemick, of Titusville, along with many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the Brugger Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1595 West 38th St., at Greengarden Blvd., Friday from 2-4 and 6 until time of services at 8 p.m. with Rev. Charles Will officiating.

The Joe Eddy family will miss Tom. Even though we lived a state away for many years we had family reunions and family visits to the Erie area. Tom was a cousin I can't forget. He was thoughtful, happy, a fun loving man. Will be greatly missed.

Kristi, Yvonne and all of the Kemick family, I am so sorry to hear of this passing. In the few opportunities I had to spend time with him, he was always so kind and I know how much he was loved by you guys. Kristi, I know how hard it is to lose a Dad and you are in my thoughts and prayers right now. I hope you are all blessed with strength in this difficult time and through the healing process.
