I was saddened to learn of John's passing. I was fortunate to have John as a close friend and classmate throughout medical school and postgraduate training. He was very humble except when he expressed pride in his fine family. Sincerest condolence to Cathy. May god bless you, your children and grandchildren. with sorrow, Steve

I'm so deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Carson's illness and passing. I worked with him at York Hospital dialysis and Pine Grove Centers. I send my deepest sympathies to Mrs. Carson and family. May God carry all of you through this difficult time in your lives.
I remember one time Dr. Carson and Cathy invited the entire staff from York Hospital dialysis to his house for a Christmas Party I truly enjoyed it. This was when they still lived near the hospital in York! I like this picture , I have not seen Dr. Carson for many years, I'll never forget him ever!

Dear Carson family please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your husband ,brother father and grandfather. I am grateful to have had John look after my health needs since the early '80s until his retirement. His care during a severe sporting accident involving both kidneys suffering damage from renal thrombosis literally saved my life. John was an excellent physician but also a supportive friend. I will remember and miss his friendship. He was a gentleman and "one of the good guys"

I am so sad to hear of the loss of Dr. Carson. Please know your family is in my prayers. I worked Med Surg for several years and loved to see Dr. Carson come in the unit, he was always friendly and respectful. I gave him a beanie baby once
( they were popular then). The Bears name was Carson. I will never forget him, he was so special to me. My deepest sympathy to you.

My sincere condolences to the family of Dr. Carson. As a patient of his, I can attest to the fact that he was not only a very knowledgeable physician, but also caring, kind and he always took the time to explain everything in layman's terms. He will be missed.

June 12, 2017

My sincere condolences to Dr. Carson's Family. Dr. Carson was and always will be my favorite doctor, no matter who I might see. His clear concern for his patient's well-being, deep intelligence, gentle bedside manner and dry humor are just some of the reasons he is my most respected physician. He is one of a kind and will be missed.
