Jon and family -- My mother also worked at St. Agnes (in the 1930s) We listen to you each day from Abilene, Kan. Take comfort in the fact that Frances is now with our God -- and both are better off for that. Now, we must do nothing to reject the faith the Holy Spirit is trying to work in our hearts so we will all be together one day and for eternity. Tim and Carol Matas, 104 S. Buckeye, Abilene, Kan. 67410 -- I am related to the Reitz, Schmidt, Krug, Hinn, Seibel, Loehr, Petri, Bechler and other families from east of town.

To all my dear cousins who are sharing the loss of Hanky, I wish I could be with you there in Fond du Lac to celebrate her memory. My family grew up with her, and formed bonds that will never be broken. I hardly ever visited home without visiting her; it will be so much easier to do that now. My Masses this weekend will be for her and all of you, until that time when she will welcome us, just the way so many of our “older family” has welcomed her.

"You meet the nicest people."
Whoever coined that phrase surely must have known Hanky. Without question, Hanky clearly was one of those rare individuals
who touched the lives of so many of us.
As a first cousin, I was lucky enough to have known Hanky and her
Family for a number of years. She was also a favorite cousin and like everyone else, we all have so many fond memories of family and fun. While she will be missed by so many of us, the beautiful
Life she lived and the legacy she leaves will always be with us.

Heaven has received another angel when your mom passed on. She raised six amazing children and I'm sure her grandchildren will miss her everyday. I am sorry for the loss of your mom and grandma and I send you prayers from my family to yours. She truly was an amazing woman. God bless all of you. It is a hard loss to understand, but God had better plans for her, he needed another mom for the 20 little angels that came before her. Much love to your family.
