Kenneth Lowe

LUNENBURG -- Kenneth S. Lowe, 88, of 66 Dudley Road, Townsend and formerly of 117 Woodland Drive, Lunenburg, died Thursday, June 8, at HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster after an illness.

He was born in Roxbury on July 23, 1917, the son of the late John G. and Florence M. (Starkey) Lowe. He attended Somerville schools and served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Mr. Lowe worked as an auto mechanic for many years prior to his retirement.

He was a member of Samuel Crocker Lodge, the Mystic Valley Lodge and the Hiram Lodge of Masons as well as several other lodges over the years. He was a member of United Parish of Lunenburg.

Mr. Lowe is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Harps) Lowe; two children, Priscilla (Lowe) Arnaud of Cotuit and Kenneth S. Lowe, Jr., of Florida; two grandchildren, Rene Arnaud III and Celeste Buscemi; and six great-grandchildren.

LOWE -- On June 8, Kenneth S. Lowe, 88, of Lunenburg. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 10, at 11 a.m. in the Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 763 Mass Ave., Lunenburg. Burial will be private in North Cemetery, Lunenburg. There are no calling hours.
