LEOMINSTER -- Rita B. (Fontaine) Gaudreau, 93, of Leominster, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, in Life Care Center of Leominster.

She was born on November 13, 1917 in Leominster, MA, was the daughter of Arthur and Odivine (Labossire) Fontaine.

She worked at Independent Lock Co., in Fitchburg, and Cluet-Peabody in Leominster.

She was a member of St. Cecilia Parish in Leominster, Montachusett Twirlers Square Dancing, roller skating at rinks of America, loved camping, and going out with her sisters.

She is survived by her son, Robert B. Gaudreau and his wife, Diane of Leominster; two brothers, A. Paul Fontaine of Leominster, and Albert Fontaine of Florida; three sisters, Claire Bergeron, Theresa Vaillette and Florence Reynolds, all of Leominster; two grandchildren, Michelle Gaudreau and Roxanne Filieo and her husband, Andrew Fileo; a great-grandson, Andrew "A.J." Filieo; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard J. Gaudreau who died in 1998.

GAUDREAU -- The funeral will be held from the Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St., Leominster on Friday, April 15, 2011, with a funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 168 Mechanic St., in Leominster, Burial will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be Friday morning , April 15, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to Affinity Hospice of Life, c/o Executive Director Aaron Lanjlois, 14 Crosby Drive Suite 103, Bedford, MA 01730. We got the pleasure of meeting Rita At the Life Care Center as she became our mom,s roommate..Even in her last days of having a hard time to breath,she never complained and always prayed..She,s an angel in heaven..Rest in peace.. You will be missed..
