formerly of Ashby and Lunenburg; 57

WASILLA, ALASKA -- Mark Scott Gerry, 57, formerly of Ashby, died Saturday, January 5, 2012, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, Wasilla, Alaska.

Mark was born in Fitchburg, March 7, 1955, one of ten children born to the late Paul and Rosa (Carrion) Gerry and resided much of his life in Ashby and Lunenburg before moving to Alaska several years ago. He was a 1975 graduate of North Middlesex Regional High School in Townsend.

He had worked many years at the former Aro's Poultry Farm in Lunenburg.

He leaves his son, Mark Gerry of Wasilla; his daughter, Melissa Gerry also of Wasilla; five brothers, Daniel Gerry of Port Richie, FL, Paul Gerry and John Gerry both of Ashby, David Gerry of Ft. Lee, NJ, James Gerry of Townsend; four sisters, Rosemary Gerry of Elmwood Park, NJ, Mary Ruth Ryan of Boston, Elizabeth Gerry of Lancaster and Helen Williams of Chekaw, SC. He also leaves nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

GERRY -- Funeral services will be 6 PM Friday, January 11th at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 250 Main Street (Rte 119) Townsend Center. Please see www.andersonfuneral.com for additional information. Spring burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Ashby.

Mark's family will receive family and friends on Friday from 4 PM until the time of the service.
