Dale Bruce (Peanut) Stamey, Sr. HARTSVILLE - Funeral services for Dale Bruce (Peanut) Stamey, Sr. age 63, who passed away Jan. 13, will be held Sat. at 2:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Westview Memorial Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 pm at the Funeral Home. Bruce was born in Hartsville a son of the late Dale Burke & Evelyn Christine Johnson Stamey. He was retired from Sonoco Products Co. after 35 years of Service, member of the Old Timers Club, Member of the Hartsville Masonic Lodge No. 173, member of the First Free Will Baptist Church where he served as the Sunday School Superintendant, a member of the Sand Hill Classic Car Club. He loved camping, cooking, searching family history and classic cars. He loved his family & friends. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Surviving are his wife: Louine Winburn Stamey, Hartsville, Children, Tonya (Marshall) Warr, Myrtle Beach, Donna (Jim) Stock, Lori (Michael) Hanley, Dale Bruce (Staci) Stamey, Jr. all of Hartsville, Carey (Darrick) Rhodes, McBee, Grandchildren, Dustin Hall, Dexter Farmer, Elise Stock, Kara Hanley, Tristan Stamey, Noah Stamey, Emma Hanley, Landon Rhodes, Brother, Roger (Trudy) Stamey, Hartsville, Sister, Rheda (Butch) Howle, Hartsville, Special Friend, James (Meatball) Robbins, Hartsville, his dog Harley. Memorials may be made to the First Free Will Baptist Church, 1752 South 4th Street, Hartsville, S.C. 29550. www.nortonfh.net.
