HOWARD VAN KOUWENBERG Obituary

Howard Van Kouwenberg Cocoa Howard Van Kouwenberg, 80, left this world on October 7, 2010. A native of Marion, NY, he was predeceased by son, Douglas. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty; and sons, Bill, Marty and Dale; brother, Donald (Jean); sister, Betty (Ralph) Ever dyke; grandchildren, Chris and Evan; great-grandchil dren, Amber and Brendan. A master carpenter of Dutch descent, he was active in the earliest days of the space program. Howard was a Korean War Air Force Veteran, Master Mechanic, Licensed Cosmetologist, Stained Glass Craftsman and 32nd Degree Mason. There will be cremation and a memorial service at a date to be determined.

Betty,
Howard was so much more than someone we worked with. We remember him fondly both as a friend and an excellent carpenter. We extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of this very special man.
