William Heyd Obituary


William Anthony Heyd, 54, died suddenly Thursday, June 2, 2011. He was born August 7, 1956, in Elyria, Ohio, the son Florence Long and William Heyd.

As an Eagle Scout, Bill was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish and spent most of his time in the outdoors. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Aurantia.

He is survived by his son, William Anthony, Jr.; stepchildren, Kristyn Robinson and Cole Thomas. Grandchildren, Jordan Heyd, Julianna Heyd, Cole Thomas, Jr, Mercedes Schultz, Nathaniel and Isabella Robinson; and siblings, Rob, Ray, Patty, and Jay Douglas.

Memorial service to be held at First Baptist Church of Aurantia, Thursday, June 9, 2011, at 1:00 pm.

Bill Heyd was a wonderful human being. He was always there to help out those he can. He was a good father and husband and touched the lives of many who will never forget him.
