I remember a lady of true grace and kindness. A smiling face and welcoming heart. The hours of Ms Louise seating folk at the Utica Picnic, leading the Choir at Church. I have been blessed to have known her and know that this Christmas the heavenly choir will sound even sweeter. My sympathy to her family for having to say goodbye to this special woman must be a difficult and sad time. God Bless

Dear Dr. Ediger, Lynnelle, Alex and Lexo, my heart is heavy with this news. My thoughts and love are with you all. I hold you in the light. I choose to remember the wonderful summer nights of my childhood, spending the night, and Mrs. Ediger coming in to gently hush us to sleep if we were up to late, chatting and being silly, but always with a gentle smile. I choose to remember her patience and kindness for the countless impromptu living room stage shows and performances she endured, always with a laughter and a kind word of encouragement. I choose to remember fireflies, thunderstorms and the gentle wrap of a warm blanket when we ran in soaked to the bone. I choose to remember Mrs. Edgier not judging, but teaching me about church, and how you did things, and how she and Dr. Ediger always gave me the love and care that any child would be jealous of for a second set of parents. I remember "padoodle" and carried that car with one light out tradition into my own family. I remember seeing parents that loved each other. Thank you for some of the best memories of my life. I am so sorry for your pain and sadness. May you find comfort in those that are close and can hold you up now.

Dearest Ray and Lynelle and Grandson: So many memories of shared events at Ft Detrick and at my late parents home on Quinn Road off I 40; meeting Ray and later Walt who passed away on 10/11/14 here in El Paso; so many memories of outings in Washington DC and of course marriage in Mt Airy on 5/30/64 where dear Ray was an usher! Louise will live on in my heart and those of the Donald Vollmer and Jessie and Harvey Davis connections. God's Grace on all of you and yours - how I wish we could all be together just one more time; planes do fly west as well as East, Ray and Lynelle!!!
