Jerome Stonick Obituary
JEROME A. Born November 5, 1937, passed into a new peaceful life July 20, 2016. Graduating from Holy Redeemer and Wayne State University, he served in US Army in Korea and later the Peace Corp in Peru. Jerry worked for HUD in the Urban Renewal Program in the Detroit area. He leaves loved ones behind, daughters Sandra (Selley) and Susan Stonick. Sisters, Mary Ann (McAllister) and Judy (Fournier) and many caring nieces and nephews and great friends. oh..... I am just finding out now about Jerry's passing. He was my father's best friend and the last of the 'gang' from the Detroit HUD area. I tried calling him today and his phone is disconnected. I googled his name and discovered this obituary. I'm sad to know he's gone but comforted in knowing he's reunited with my father Malcolm Prophit and their other pal Fred Jansen. Condolences to the family
