MAXINE HEINRICH Obituary

Maxine headed 'home' to join her husband Philip who preceded her in death in 2001, after 65 years of marriage. Born in Oklahoma, she and her family went west looking for better times when she was two. Maxine lived the rest of her life in California, calling Dinuba, Porterville and MacFarland home before 1933, Fresno and Madera thereafter. Beloved mother of Neil Heinrich and his wife, Randi of Stockton, Ca. and Karen Shea and her husband Ron of Lake Forest, Ca., treasured grandmother of seven and 'grape' grandmother of nine. She has loved us all so much. Maxine and Phil took much pride in being owners of three bakeries for 18 years. 'Phil's Pastry' formerly located in Blacks Markets in Fresno. In 1954 they moved their family to country life on a vineyard. Maxine was an active, loving wife, mom and grandmother. She enjoyed many craft projects, cooking, designing a prize winning Farm Bureau booth for the Madera Fair, being a troop leader for Camp Fire Girls, and helping to build Camp Adahi. Most of all, her avocation was to take care of the people she loved. Maxine was always the historian of our family memories, keeper of our stories. How we loved to hear her tell them. She held all of us in the pages of her heart. Maxine, along with Philip and their 'Punkin,' are now making 'calico' rainbows for us all. She will always be missed! All services will be arranged privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to your favorite charity; or to St. Agnes Hospice, 1303 E. Herndon Ave., Fresno, Ca. 93620. TINKLER FUNERAL CHAPEL and Crematory 475 North Broadway Street Fresno, Ca. (559)233-2101
