Ashley Anderson Obituary
Ashley graduated from Glencoe High School in 2000 and University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006. She has been employed by EUS (Environmental United Service) for nine years. Ashley loved working with youth and children. She was an active member of the RMH along with being a mentor for children with autism. She had a passion for music, art and writing. She was a true original soul.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael D. Anderson; uncle, Donald Anderson; grandmothers, Janice Langston and Sue Anderson; and grandfather, Edward G. Anderson.
She is survived by her mother, Selina L. Anderson; sisters, Brittany (Michael) Finney, Christen (Jason) Bristol; nephew, Malaki Finney; aunts, Debby (Larry) Moon, Kay (Dennis) Robinson and Becky Anderson; cousins, Melissa (Nicky) Barnard, Cody (Melissa) Robinson, Don (Alaina) Anderson and Donna (Richard) Parrish.
Pallbearers will be Michael Finney, Jason Bristol, Cody Robinson, Nicky Barnard, Jesse Womack and Colin Browning. Honorary pallbearers will be Malaki Finney, Alan McAlister, Dillon Jones and Austin Beard.
Special thanks to the cities of Vestavia, Moody and Southside. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Brain Cancer Society.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Ashley, The word heartbroken cannot sufficiently describe how we all feel. Most of all your family, who love you deeply. The Finney family have been so... blessed to be part of your family the day Michael & Brittany Wedd. We gained a awsome family! You will be so missed! Michael, Brittany & Malaki loves you! I thank you for always being there for them. You were there for Malaki's games, every event and always came to see him weekly. Anytime Brittany needed you, you were there, wether it was to braid her hair or fix it some cute way or decorate inside the house for the holidays while Michael decorated outside. You always had something funny to say and always had a smile on your beautiful face even when you were down. Enjoyed watching the Auburn and Alabama games with you and the family.This is hard to say but for you, I will. WAR EAGLE BABY! WE LOVE YOU! FINNEY FAMILY

Thank goodness for happy memories...Mardi Gras, parties of the pool, martini, birthday and Chrismas variety. I always enjoyed your company and upbeat attitude.
