Jane Worth Obituary

WORTH,

JANE PAULETTE LABONTE

Jane Paulette LaBonte Worth died on July 10, 2014 in St. Augustine Florida after a brief illness. Born on July 10, 1953 in St. Petersburg, Florida, Jane lived her entire life in north central Florida, moving first to Orlando, then Gainesville, St. Augustine and finally to Satsuma and Welaka.

After working for many years in the City of Gainesville's purchasing department, Jane retired to her waterfront home on the St. Johns River in Satsuma. Jane always loved the water and she and her husband Bob enjoyed many great adventures on their boat trips on the St. Johns and up and down the east coast from the Keys to Manhatten. Her greatest joys came from the times she spent out on the water with friends, family and with her three grandchildren, Sarah, Emma and Michael.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Emma LaBonte, her brother Michael LaBonte and her daughter Heather Love DeNunzio. Survivors include her husband Bob Worth of Welaka, her brother Bob LaBonte of Seminole, her sister Patti Wolfcale of Atlanta and her three grandchildren, Sarah Duffield of Bronson and Emma and Michael DeNunzio of Keystone Heights.

The family is planning a memorial service for the early fall in St. Augustine. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a contribution to the charity of your choice.

Beautiful memories treasured forever of the happy times we spent together. A smile for all, a heart of gold, no finer friend this world could hold. I'll never forget my dear friend, Jane. You were a great gift in my life and I was very lucky to have such a wonderful girlfriend. RIP friend. P.S. Don't tell Brian I said so, you were the better water skier.
