GEORGE FRAZIER Obituary
GEORGE WASHINGTON
Mr. George Washington Frazier was born on March 21, 1950 to the late Marvin 'Pinktoe' Frazier and Mae Jae Frazier in Alachua, Florida. George was a graduate of the A. L. Mebane High School Class of 1968 and was employed by General Electric for 31 years. His love for horses at an early age blossomed into a life of traveling the world and serving as a friend to many as the local cowboy and farrier. He also touched the lives of many children in the community as a football and basketball coach. George attended St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church as a child and later joined as a member.
George leaves to cherish his loving and fond memories in the hearts of his wife, Frances M. Frazier and their three children, Pastor Dr. Kimara Weeks (Bishop Adrian Weeks), Dr. Katrina 'Tina' Mallory (Rodney Mallory), and Mr. George Tremayne Frazier (Ayana Rivers); 14 grandchildren, Jazmine Mack (Antione Mack), Branden Holmes, Janee' Gilliam, Jakarr Gilliam, Jordan Weeks, Taylor Weeks, Peyton Weeks, Cami Weeks, Tremayne Queal Frazier, Kyan Frazier, Charmayne Frazier, Nadiya Mallory, Miles Mallory, and Micah Mallory; six great grandchildren, Taylor Riley, Tyler Riley, Tyson Mack, Amira Mack, Tanner Washington, and Braxton Brown; one brother, Nathaniel Bryant; and eight sister-in-laws, Frankie (John) Sheppard, Sherry (William) Flagg, Vivian (John) Allison, Joyce Marks (Glenn) Bivins, Maryann Marks, Eva (Johnny) Pollard, Thelma (Jerome) Harris, Dorothy (George) Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and longtime loving friends.
Four sisters preceded him in death, Mae Sue (Hooper), Betty (Eddie) Black, James 'Butch' (Marilyn) Frazier, and Shirley Frazier.
Visitation Will be held Friday, July 27, 2018 from 6-8 pm at St. Mathews Baptist Church; HWY 241, Alachua, Florida. Celebration of Life, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11 am St. First Baptist Church, 1400 NW 156 Ave, Alachua, Florida. Services entrusted to Signature Memorial Funeral and Cremation Services LLC, 3401 SE Hawthorne Rd, Gainesville, FL 32641.

I did not know that George had passed. We had some good times at the Rodeos. He loved roping and horses also his fellow cowboy and cowgirls. This is a great loss. Condolences to his family and friends.

Deepest condolences to the entire Frazier family. George loved and adored his family first, and horses close behind. Every time he came to tend our horses he shared all the family news. He always had a kind word and asked about everyone in your own family. George was one of those people you were just glad to know. He will be missed.
