BARBARA PARKER Obituary
Barbara Adams Parker, age 64 of Gainesville, died suddenly Thursday, May 12, 2011 at her home. Barbara was born in Tuscaloosa, AL, and graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education. She taught for many years, prior to becoming a homemaker. Barbara loved sewing, loved her grandchildren, and she also loved to laugh. She was very selfless, a wonderful caregiver, and a Christian.
Barbara is survived by her husband James R. "Bobby" Parker, III; son James R. "Robbie" Parker, IV and his wife Heather; daughter Angela Kline and her husband Ken; grandchildren James R. Parker, V; Cameron Parker; and Amelia Kline; and step-grandson Trevor Kline.
The family will receive friends at the Milam Funeral Home in Newberry on Sunday May 15, 2011 from 3-5 PM. Graveside services will be held Monday May 16, 2011 at 11 AM at the Green Pine Cemetery in Yulee, Florida.
Arrangements are under the care of MILAM FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES of Newberry, 22405 W. Newberry RD, Newberry, FL 32669. (352) 472-5361.

Barbara what a joy you always brought to my life. so glad we reconnected after so many years. i will truly miss my little league mama buddy but i will cherish all our memories. robbie, angelia, and mr. parker, God bless all of you! please contact me if there is anything i can do. mr. parker, i am praying for you and hope your health gets better. love to all. sharon goodwin webb
