Will always remember

May 16, 2011

My prayers and thoughts are with the Horne family. I was a childhood friend to Herbert. We would walk to school together when He and I attended Elementary school together. I would go over to his home and play ball with him or we would ride our bikes together. I later moved from the Gainesville area. But have fond memories of my classmate and of his family. May God Bless and keep you all.
Prayerfully

Our condolences to the Horne family. We lost touch with Herbie but spoke of him fondly many times through the years. He was a good friend to many.

The Gators have one of their greatest fans spreading the gospel of the Orange & Blue through the skies above.

Herbie did many good things--but one of his best came one evening in mid-Jan '68 when he brought me in from the front porch to meet his Aunt Judy.
