hello to all the family of Leo. It was a whole lot of years ago that this kid was on the business end of electric saw with your pop teaching me all the way. One heck of a builder Leo was. Leo was my mentor. The many years we worked side by side in the miami sun was really something except for one year while pouring some tie beams on 2nd ave it did snow! There was always fighting the labors, the picketing workers, the city inspectors, the subs, the suppliers and just about anyone who walked on a job here in miami. Leo bucked them all making things happen. Always a tough time but now I know Leo is with his love Helen. He's already got the Big Guys heavenly addition going. Over the years Leo always was there to offer advice and ask , How ya doing Bimmie? I'd always tell him still got your rule and use it all time. After some 35 years that old wood 6 ft rule with the numbers wore off does its task in measuruing up. Thanks old friend for the skills and memories and the hundreds of hours you gave to me. To the family your pop was one of kind. Now that he is free of his worn out earthly body he is flying high. Just pick him a star to land on so in his travels he stops off and picks up your loving blessings. thanks again Leo and the best of health to all of you. Bennet "Bimmie" Pumo

Although I never met Mr. Niehaus, I do know Scott and his family and my sincere condolences go out to him and the entire Niehaus family. And what a fine large family it is. My heatfelt appreciation to Mr. Niehaus for his excellent service to this country and obvious selflessness in both his committment to his family and his country. Another of the "Greatest Generation" is gone but never forgotten. May God bless him and keep him.
