MARJORIE ROBERTS Obituary
Lake Butler - Mrs. Marjorie Mizelle Roberts, 89, died Friday morning at the North Florida Regional Medical Center of
Gainesville after a brief illness. Mrs. Roberts was born in Worthington Springs and lived her entire life in Union County. She graduated from Union County High School in Lake Butler. She was a homemaker and a former dental assistant. She was a member of the Worthington Springs Civic Club and the Lake Butler Garden Club. Mrs. Roberts was a longstanding and active member of the First Christian Church of Lake Butler. She was the daughter of the late Warren Brodie and Georgie Lee Yarborough Mizelle.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A. Roberts; 2 brothers; Warren B. Mizelle, Jr. and James Lamar Mizelle; a granddaughter, Marjorie Michele Lascola.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by
1 Daughter Elaine Marjorie Lascola (husband Harold) Sexton of Knoxville, Tennessee, 3 Sons; Roland Jerry (wife Kathy) Lascola of Lake Butler; Elwin Joseph (wife Sonny) Lascola of Indianapolis, Ind.; Avery Clarence (wife Twyla) Roberts of Lake Butler, 1 Sister Yvonne Mizelle (husband Page) McGill of Lake Butler, 1 Grandson, 5 Granddaughters and 1 Great grandson. Many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM. at the First Christian Church of Lake Butler with Bro. Arthur O. Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Dekle Cemetery in Lake Butler. Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the First Christian Church on Sunday from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Avery so sorry to hear our deepest condolences. I remeber going over to her house and picking the kumquats off the tree when papa would go over. She was always nice to us. The masked avenger strikes again.

We have many fond memories of "Mrs. Marjorie" from our days together at First Christian. We extend our prayers and sympathies to her family at this time. She will be greatly missed by both the church and community. God Bless, Faye and Marvin Drew.
