SCOTT, BERNICE, 85
Bernice Scott, 85, homemaker, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at Signature Healthcare Center, Ms. Scott was a native of Chiefland, FL. She moved to Gainesville, from Lake City, FL. in the late 1980's. Ms. Scott was the last of six children of the late Maxie and Ruble Scott.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dennis,Billy, Georgia, Lee, and Rubis Scott Hudson.
Bernice was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Her memory will live on in the hearts of numerous nieces; nephews; grand nieces; and nephews; cousins; her church family; and caring friends.
Graveside Services for Ms. Scott, will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday Chestnut Memorial Chapel from 2:00 - 7:00 PM and on Thursday at graveside one hour before the service. Family members are asked to meet at graveside on Thursday at 10:30 AM Arrangements entrusted to the care of Chestnut Funeral Home Gainesville, Florida.

To the Family we extend our thoughts and prayers to each of you at this time. Mrs. Bernice was a neighbor of ours we are sadden to hear of her passing but our memories of her will live on. We all loved her but God loved her more. May God bless each of you now and forevermore.
