Mary Shronce Obituary

CHERRYVILLE - Mary Sue Triplet Shronce, 86, of 6697 Charleston Trail, formerly of Baxter Road, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at her residence.

Mrs. Shronce was born April 10, 1926, in Catawba County, a daughter of the late Edward Plato Triplet and Willie Jo Dysart Triplet.

She was a homemaker and caregiver for many years and was a member of Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shelton Stewart Shronce; a son, Dale Edward Shronce; a sister, Charlie Mae Skinell; and four brothers, Hunt, Earl, Claude and Edwin "June" Triplet.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Moore of Cherryville; five sons, Jake Shronce of Hickory, John Shronce of Cherryville, Lynn Shronce of Granite Falls, Keith Shronce of Cherryville and Chris Shronce of Vale; 12 grandchildren, Constance Dotson, Michael Moore, Cassandra Hagan, Keshia Hardee, Haley Dean, Summer Madden, Brandon Shronce, Jake Shronce, Cody Shronce and Stephanie Shronce; and 10 great-grandchildren, Laura Dotson, Dillon Moore, Elijah Hardee, Morgan Dean, Kadance Hardee, Fallon Dean, Keeley Madden, Kaden Madden, Haley Shronce and Landem Shronce.

A visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leroy Mobley officiating.

Burial will be at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 107 N. Cedar St., Lincolnton, NC 28092.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother, I was just thinking of her again last night and wondering about her. I didn't know that Dale had passed away,this too has sadden my heart.
