Dear Uncle Bill,
It was a jolt to learn that you were so ill and then left so quickly. I am very glad that we were able to visit with you in Florida last autumn. I especially enjoyed hearing your joint stories about growing up in Chicago and the places and times that you experienced.
You are special to me, because of the times we spent writing while you were stationed in Nam. I cherish our relationship. You are dearly missed.
Your niece,
Joe Barbosa

I will always remember my trip to Colorado Spring with Roberta and Rich. Bill took us to Fort Carson and was so proud of his country and the military. He spent a lot of time talking about Chuck and how proud of his son he was. Thank you for serving your country and for being a good man.

Bill with nieces Mary and Kim. We met for dinner and ended up staying half the night, captivated by his amazing stories. It was such a pleasure.
