Carole was my Precept teacher, my encourager in music and dear dear friend. I will miss her immensely. Julie, Jeff and Jody, my heart aches for each of you but she is with the Lord she loved and served so well all her life. It is time for her to rest and be with your Dad and praise her Lord. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

I was saddened when I heard the news about Carole! We went to Shawnee High School together, in Oklahoma, and graduated with the Class of 1952. I also knew her football hero and husband, Commander James Hall. They were a beautiful couple and they are now together again! May the Lord comfort their family in their sorrow. Carole (Ash) Myers

Jeff, John, Jody and Julie....how my heart aches for all of you at Carole's passing! Carole and I had known each other for many years, beginning with an introduction through friends for piano lessons with Carole and then working for her and taking lessons myself along with my children. I had the privilege of not only taking lessons, gardening, but also of sitting under her teaching through Precepts. It was her faith, her teaching and inspiration that revealed my later calling to be a Precepts Leader. I will always consider her my spiritual mom! It was a pivotal point in my spiritual journey that I will always be grateful for. Carole was such an inspiration, joy, and so easy to love person. She was a woman who breathed in and out her faith in Jesus Christ every moment of her life. I will always have a special place in my heart for her and sweet Julie! My prayer is that all of you will be comforted by the presence of our Father deeply and in each moment your heart breaks for her absence. She is indeed one of the great saints! I am comforted knowing that she now resides with the King of Kings and has already greeted and been greeted by my beloved daughter! Time to rest dear friend of mine, I will never forget you and your influence in and on my life!

We met Mrs. Hall when my daughter began taking piano lessons 2 1/2 years ago. She taught Abby how to play piano, but she taught me about life. She was truly a mentor to me. She was a living example of true beauty. I will be forever grateful for her willingness to share her life experiences and speak into my life. From a breakfast or lunch at her table to working alongside her in the garden, she was always willing to listen to my incessant questions. Despite all the hardships she faced, she chose to live her life with joy and gratitude. I have never seen anyone do that so well. That is what drew me to her. I always left my times with her challenged and encouraged feeling like I had spent time in the presence of God. My only regrets are the many questions I never got to ask and that my daughter will not be able to continue under her teaching and mentoring.
She is truly in the presence of God right now rejoicing and receiving her reward. We grieve, but not without hope that we will see her again in heaven some day. The service today was beautiful and I loved learning things about her that I never knew.
Your whole family is in my prayers as you learn how to live life without her daily presence. I know that she lives on in each one of you!!

Remembering Carole and thinking about Jeff, John (Jody) and Julie. While Jim fought in the war, Carole maintained the "home front". Proud to be their cousin. Patty Taylor Bradshaw

Carole was my Precepts leader for 3 years when we lived in Colorado Springs and was a wonderful Bible teacher. Oh how she loved God's Word! My favorite Carole-ism that I have shared with so many over the years was, "Christians are not called to get on The Love Boat, but on the Battleship so put on the full armor of God & fight the good fight." She did that & was such a blessing in my life. I will miss you, my sweet friend. May our Lord give her family peace & comfort as they go through the grieving process.

I have been Carole's gardener for the past 4 years. She was always so positive and kind. It took me no time at all to love and appreciate her. Many blessings to the family. I will miss both she and her garden deeply.

I have had a long time admiration of Carole with my first impression when I was a young child of that beautiful bride at their wedding. Carole always had such a beautiful countenance with a smile on her face. Though she faced so much adversity through her life, she did it with such grace. She has been a role model for me for so many years and I'm just sorry I never expressed that to her. Our life paths have been very similar in that we both have special needs daughters, we both loved to worship by serving as church pianists, and then when I became a widow, I remembered and admired the strength that Carole had to carry on after she lost Jimmy and I have tried to have that same kind of faith and strength after I lost my husband. Carole loved God, she loved her husband, she loved her daughter and sons, as well as her extended family and friends. She was a testimony to God's grace in all she faced. Heaven is now complete for her and Jimmy as they are together once again. Praying God's blessings on Julie, Jeff and John as well as the rest of her family and friends.

Carole was a very talented lady who used her talents and gifts to serve our Lord. Whether it was her music or leading a Precept bible study, she served with excellence. She is loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Proverbs 31:29-31 " Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."
