Jeffery Monaghan Obituary

Jeffery Scott Monaghan (Pops, Papa Jeff), born June 10th, 1966 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, has passed away at his home in Colorado Springs. Jeff was preceded in death by his father Joseph Francis Monaghan, brother David Leroy Monaghan, brother in law Andy McKeen, and father in law John James Chase.

For 19 years he worked at the Country Club of Colorado. He loved his work. Some of Jeff's other passions included fishing, building crazy fast engines, baseball, and exercising his apical wit. To say he was an avid music lover would be a tremendous misstatement. He LOVED MUSIC, but there is only one thing in this universe that he cherished greater. That is his wife of 29 years and their family.

Jeff is survived by mother Joanne, sister Kelly, sister Heather, his cherished wife Martha, son Joshua (Kendra), son Aaron (Kory, ex-wife Rhiannon), son Bryan, granddaughter Ella, grandson Elvis, Brothers-in-Law, Charlie (Lisa), Andy (Carla), Sister-in-Law Patty and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that were as close as family.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 18th 1:00pm at Swan-Law Funeral, located at 501 N Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 (719)-471-9900. In lieu of flowers please give any donations to www.vh1savethemusic.org
