Marilyn Wagoner Memoriam

Wagoner
Marilyn C. Wagoner
November 12, 1933 - October 30, 2017
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marilyn (Mari) C. Wagoner. Mom's spirit left us on October 30, 2017. She was 83 years young. She was loved by all who have ever met her. She was a gracious, kind, and caring lady. She is survived by sons, Michael and Barry Wagoner, and daughters, Christel Wagoner and Cheri Rhodes, daughter-in-law, Marilyn S. Wagoner, son-in-law, Dale Rhodes, and her pride and joy, granddaughter, Amanda Rhodes.
Mari was born in Endicott, Nebraska and is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Bertha Compton, and her brother, Dale Compton. She was raised on a farm in Mahaska, Kansas. During her journey through life, she was married for 25 years and traveled and lived in several countries as an Air force spouse. She made her final home in Colorado Springs, and loved gardening and spending time with family and friends. Mari (mom) touched a lot of lives and she will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
You rest now mom and know that you were loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in Mari's name.
A celebration of Mari's life will be held on Monday, November 6th, 12:00 p.m. at Alternative Cremation, 2377 N. Academy Blvd in Colorado Springs with a lunch immediately following.
